²⁴That is why I told you
that you would die in your sins.
For if you do not believe
that I AM,
you will die in your sins.”

²⁵“Who are you then?” they asked him. Jesus answered,

“Just what I have been telling you
from the beginning.
²⁶I have much to say about you,
and much to condemn.
But the one who sent me is true,
and what I have heard from him
I declare to the world.”
